We’re excited to share that members of the GameChangers Ludic Design Group (myself, Petros Lameras, and Mark Lewis) are now part of CreaTech Frontiers, a brand-new initiative by Coventry University’s Centre for Creative Economies, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, part of UK Research and Innovation.
This project brings together creative minds from across academia and industry to explore the cutting edge of Createch: where creativity meets technology. We’ll be working closely with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), artists, designers, technologists, and researchers to experiment with new ideas, prototypes, and ways of collaborating.
Our role will be as academic experts, contributing insights from our work in game-based learning, playful design, and immersive storytelling. It’s a great opportunity to see how playful, ludic approaches can support innovation beyond education, spanning everything from cultural heritage to XR and AI-driven creative tools.
The best part? It’s not just about research in a lab; it’s about co-creating in real-world contexts with creative entrepreneurs and technologists at the forefront of their fields.
Keep an eye on the Createch Frontiers page for updates and opportunities to get involved.
