Thrilled to share the fantastic news that our project, ACES, clinched the Bronze Award at the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2023 in the Sustainability Education category! It’s truly an honour to stand alongside other incredible projects in this category. ACES, with its focus on fostering resilience through playful and frugal educational design, received noteworthy recognition in the highly competitive 10th-anniversary edition of the awards. With over 1200 nominations spanning 17 categories, the competition was fierce, making ACES’ exceptional standing even more remarkable.
Making it to the top 30% on the shortlist, ACES underwent a rigorous evaluation involving 800 projects and assessments by 600 international experts. This achievement solidifies ACES’ status as a world-class standard in educational innovation and scalability, establishing it as a frontrunner among a substantial cohort of applications. The project’s outstanding accomplishments in innovation and efficacy were further highlighted through four rounds of evaluations conducted by a panel of 900 international higher education and edtech expert judges. Winning the Bronze award is a testament to ACES’ significant contributions to sustainability education.
This is such a good end to 2023, being acknowledged for the second time by QS. In 2021, our main initiative, GameChangers, won GOLD for the Science of Learning category.
